Memorandum submitted regarding compensation for flood damage, limit on cash transactions, income tax exemption and other demands

Saharanpur | Deoband, Industry Trade Delegation Uttar Pradesh sent a memorandum to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman through SDM Deoband Ankur Verma regarding various demands including abolition of GST on grains, wheat, rice, pulses, flour and clothes. Traders under the leadership of the city president of the organization Deepak Garg reached the Sub-Divisional Magistrate's office and handed over the memorandum addressed to the Finance Minister to SDM Ankur Verma. In the memorandum, demands were raised for assessing the losses suffered by traders in flood-affected areas and providing compensation to them, increasing the limit of cash transactions to one lakh and income tax exemption limit to 10 lakh, making free arrangements for education and health for the families of traders paying GST and income tax, giving pension of 40 thousand rupees per month to traders who have filed income tax returns for 20 years, abolishing Mandi Samiti, making arrangements for 10 percent tax on online shopping, making arrangements for regular market monitoring to prevent GST evasion in e-commerce marketing and making 30th December the last date for filing income tax. During this, Deepak Garg, Manmohan Garg, Manish Garg, Sanjay Goyal, Monu Bansal, Sarfaraz, Ajay Kumar Jain, Sumit, Neeraj, Sachin Bansal, etc were present.
