Damoh, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will participate in sectoral sessions by having one-to-one discussions with industrialists at the Regional Industries Conclave in Sagar on September 27. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various new and proposed projects. These include the proposed land allocation for the regional office of Sagar, Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions, Bhoomi Pujan of the regional office of MPIDC in Sagar, inauguration of District Investment Promotion Centers in Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur and Niwari districts and inauguration of MPIDC office in Coimbatore.
The fourth Regional Industries Conclave of the state is being organized on Friday at the Jawaharlal Nehru Police Academy Ground in Sagar. Industrialists and investors from the country and abroad will participate in the conclave. In the opening session, the country's leading industrialists will put forward their views on investing in the state.

Sectoral Sessions

Various sectoral sessions will be organized in the conclave. These include petrochemical, plastic and related sectors (main focus - related to Bina Refinery), agriculture, food processing and dairy sector, MSME and startups, cottage industry (main focus - bidi industry), two round-table sessions on renewable energy, textile and technical textile, workshop related to One District-One Product (ODOP) and hackathon for IT based solutions to local problems.

Main focus of the conclave is cottage industry

The main focus of the conclave will be local cottage industry. A detailed action plan will be discussed in a separate session based on bidi industry. In 'One District-One Product', world class quality, marketing and processing of local products of all the districts of Sagar division and other issues will be discussed.

A video film will be shown in the conclave on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh. Principal Secretary Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Raghavendra Kumar Singh will give a presentation on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh and Principal Secretary Mining and Mineral Resources Sanjay Shukla will give a presentation on Investment Opportunities in Mining Sector. Principal Secretary Tourism Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla will give a presentation on Investment Opportunities in Tourism Sector and Secretary MSME Dr. Navneet Mohan Kothari will give a presentation on MSME and Startups. Managing Director Handicrafts, Handloom Development Corporation and Madhya Pradesh Khadi Village Industries Board Shri Mohit Bundas will give a presentation on cottage and village industries in the conclave. Prominent industrialists will share their experiences on investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh. There will be a round table meeting on investment in renewable energy sector and textile and technical sector.

Exhibitions and stalls of beneficiary-oriented schemes of various departments including "One District-One Product" will also be set up in the conclave. Cultural programs soaked in Bundelkhandi culture will be presented in the conclave. Local artists will give an attractive performance of Bundelkhandi dance and singing. Guests will be welcomed in a traditional manner at the venue. Guests will be able to enjoy local cuisine during the meal.
