Colors ruled Rajwada for five hours, five colors came out

Indore, On Rang Panchami in Indore, the central and western areas of Indore were filled with colours, enthusiasm and fun. There was fighting on the streets for five hours and colors reigned. The sky was colorful and colors were showering from the missiles. There was no place to set foot on the four kilometer long road. Crowds were visible on the streets and squares. Rajwada was the most crowded. Actually, on Rangpanchami, six ger are performed, but due to one ger being cancelled, five ger were performed.

Every year, the ger rounds the Rajwada by 2.30 pm, but this year due to the involvement of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, the ger for Radha-Krishna Phag Yatra and Sanstha Srijan started late. People also had to wait for the arrival of Ger.
Half the road was closed due to the convoy
The police department had restricted movement on a section of the road from Rajwada to Krishnapura Bridge by placing barricades. The vehicles of the CM's convoy were parked here. Barricades were also placed in the streets adjacent to the road. Due to this, people continued to face difficulty in reaching Rajwada. After the Chief Minister left the Ger, the crowd suddenly increased on the road and the police personnel had to remove the barricades to control the crowd.
Police chased away the hoodlums
Despite all efforts, the hooligans left no stone unturned to spoil the fun. Slipper and shoes were being thrown in the garbage. Mischievous elements were seen harassing the girls who came to watch the game by throwing colours.
Some people in the crowd were throwing slippers at the youth standing on a tanker belonging to the organization Srijan. Seeing this, the police personnel became active and chased away the hoodlums with sticks. Apart from this, during Hind Rakshak's Phag Yatra, some youth were throwing balloons and the Yatra workers came to stop them. There was also a dispute during this period. The police department had made arrangements at Rajwada outpost for those throwing slippers in the streets. The hoodlums were being held and made to sit there and were released only after the fight was over.
