Satna, A special Gram Sabha meeting was organized today in Gram Panchayat Chithara under Janpad Panchayat Majhgawan, in which mainly the Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Chithara Pragya Bhaiya Ji Mishra along with the village secretary, employment assistant, deputy Sarpanch and Panchs along with all the villagers were present. Patwari Ramnaresh Patel was the nodal officer of the Panchayat.

This special Gram Sabha was organized to make public the list of beneficiaries benefited under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Awas Plus) and to prove their eligibility and ineligibility in the presence of the members of the Gram Sabha and to register it in the proceedings of the Gram Sabha, in which the presence of 22 tribal eligible persons was recorded.
The Sarpanch administered the oath of not consuming drugs!

After the Gram Sabha meeting, Sarpanch Pragya Bhaiya Ji appealed to all the villagers to not consume drugs and also took an oath that no villager will consume drugs and will stop those who consume drugs.
The Sarpanch also talked about registering an action to deprive the drug addict from the benefits of government schemes with the consent of all the members in the next Gram Sabha meeting and getting approval from the District Panchayat Satna.
Sarpanch Pragya Bhaiya Ji says that we have to make our Gram Panchayat an ideal one, in which being a drug-free village will be a very important step.

Sarpanch-Secretary swept!
After the Gram Sabha meeting, all the people present including Sarpanch Chithara and Secretary cleaned the garbage outside the Gram Panchayat office and also sent the message of cleanliness by sweeping the Gram Panchayat premises. The Sarpanch took an oath from the people present to keep the Gram Panchayat clean.
