Saharanpur, In the sequence of instructions of District Magistrate Manish Bansal, Deputy Director Agriculture Dr. Rakesh Kumar said that in the financial year 2024-25, under the Sub Mission on Agricultural Mechanization, National Food Security Mission (Pulses) and National Mission on Oil Seeds and Oil Palm (OS-TBO) schemes, in relation to the development block wise/machine wise targets of agricultural equipment, on the basis of booking done by the interested beneficiary farmers on the departmental portal within the prescribed time period, the booking of agricultural equipment has exceeded the target. The beneficiaries of those agricultural equipment will be selected through e-lottery by the district level executive committee constituted under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate on 14-11-2024 at the Collectorate Saharanpur. In continuation of the above, he informed all the farmer brothers of the district that those who have applied online to purchase machinery on subsidy under various schemes should be present at the Collectorate on 14-11-2024, so that the process of e-lottery can be completed in front of them. Whichever farmer brother will be absent, he will be considered to agree with the names of the beneficiaries selected through e-lottery by the present farmer brothers and the committee and the process will be completed by assuming that they have no objection.
