In the case of murder of 38-year-old Arun Tripathi, son of Kashidin Tripathi, resident of Mahkhada under Sabhapur Bhaana Pana, police has picked up more than a dozen suspects from different places. Police is questioning these suspects on the basis of the statement of the deceased's family. After verification of the allegation, the police will take further action, Sabhapur police station in-charge Rakhendra Dwivedi said that investigation proceedings are being done speedily.
He was shot after chasing him while going to the field
It is known that farmer Arun Tripathi, resident of Mahkhada, was shot in broad daylight on Kulkadiya Road, adjacent to Sutikshan Ashram in the bandit-affected area, when he was going to the field on his bike after having lunch at around 2 pm. Looking at the circumstances of the crime scene, it was suspected that the accused had shot Arun Tripathi while chasing him. The deceased's motorcycle and foot prints were lying about 100 meters away from the place where his body was lying. His mobile phone was not found at the crime scene. There is a possibility of the secret of this incident being revealed through the mobile phone. It is being said that someone had called the deceased for a walk. The deceased had left his son near the field and had gone in that direction, when the unknown killers shot and killed him. On the other hand, police station in-charge Savendra Dwivedi says that the police will soon arrest the accused in this blind murder. The suspects are being questioned closely by the police, it is expected that the accused will be caught soon.

According to the discussion of the villagers, the deceased was having a dispute with some of his family members regarding land. The land was divided between the deceased and his sister-in-law. The deceased owns land all around, while the inner portion belonged to his sister-in-law, which he had sold to a retired employee from Mujhtwa. There was a dispute between the two parties regarding their movement here. According to the villagers, this person held an influential position in the police department. The police questioned some shepherds grazing cattle at the site of the incident, who told about a dispute between some members of Arun Tripathi's family.
