Police has taken major action against online IPL betting by seizing 7 mobile phones, 2 cars, 3 LED TVs, 1 bike including 60 thousand 610 rupees in cash and 37 lakh online transactions totaling 70 lakh from the possession of bookies.
 
Shahdol police has taken major action against those who feed betting in IPL cricket match. In Budhar, Kotwali and Sohagpur police station area of the district, on the information of betting in IPL cricket match, Shahdol police, while taking major action, has caught Sanjay Verma and Neeraj Verma, the cricket bookies of Budhar police station area red-handed, while the same IPL cricket match in Sohagpur police station area. Betting dealer Suraj Gupta has also been caught, similarly Kotwali police has also caught IPL cricket betting king Bunty Bhatia. Major action has been taken against online IPL betting by seizing 7 mobile phones, 2 cars, 3 LED TVs, 1 bike including 60 hajar 610 cash and 37 lakh online transactions totaling 70 lakh from all the arrested cricket bookies.
