Maihar, A lady constable and security guard who went to remove encroachment in Maihar were attacked. The constable has suffered a serious head injury. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon in the mine of RCCPL cement company in village Sareda of Badera police station area of Maihar. According to the information, Lakhan Patel did not vacate the mine land even after receiving compensation. He did not agree even after the eviction order of the civil court. On Tuesday, the company manager, security guard, revenue department and police force reached the spot. During the action to remove the encroachment, the house was demolished with a JCB. During this, an elderly woman of the family attacked the female constable Purnima Singh with a stick. The constable's head started bleeding. Meanwhile, Lakhan's daughter-in-law bit the female security guard Uma Dahiya with her teeth. Both the injured were treated in the ambulance present on the spot. Police station in-charge Abhishek Singh said that there was a house in the mine area. The encroachment was removed due to court orders and fear of accident during blasting. Police have registered a case against five people including Lakhan Patel. Women have also been made accused. But their whereabouts are not known yet. It has been found out that both are mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. After investigation, they will also be made accused.
