Once again a case of suspicious death of a married woman has come to light in Nawada. It is being told that the in-laws killed the married woman by strangling her. After which they fled from the house. Police recovered the body from the drain. According to the information, in-laws killed a married woman by strangling her in Nawada and with the aim of hiding the evidence, an attempt was being made to burn the body in a hurry.
On receiving the information, the family members reached the spot and informed the local police about the incident, then the police recovered the body from near the drain of the village and took it into custody. After that, it has been sent to Nawada Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Where the deceased's maternal family is crying inconsolably. This incident is from Zorawar Bigha village of Nardiganj police station area of the district. Where a case of killing a married woman by strangling her has come to light. After the incident, there was an uproar among the family members. The deceased woman has been identified as Lalita Devi, wife of Dular Chand Chauhan, resident of Zorawar Bigha village.
The family members said that Lalita was married to Dular Chand Chauhan 01 year ago. The deceased's father Ramjanm Chauhan said that my daughter has been strangled to death due to domestic dispute. He said that my daughter was often tortured by her husband and in-laws. She was strangled to death late at night. The in-laws were trying to burn the body at night without informing us. When we got the information, we came and started searching for the girl.
My daughter's body was not found at home and all the in-laws had fled from the house. After which the police was informed. Then the police recovered the body of the married woman from near the village drain. At present, the police has taken the body in its possession and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and is engaged in further action.
