The case is of Muzaffarpur where the team of the excise department has recovered a huge amount of branded foreign liquor hidden in the pond. The police was also surprised to find a consignment of liquor in the pond.

8 years ago, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar implemented liquor ban in Bihar. This law was made to ensure that no one drinks or sells liquor. But despite the making of this law, liquor smugglers are not giving up their habits and neither are the drinkers taking the name of reform. The businessmen are adopting various tricks to sell and hide liquor.

Sometimes they smuggle liquor by making basements in vehicles, sometimes they take the help of ambulances and devise many other ways, this time the liquor mafia has made the pond itself a cellar of liquor. Police personnel were also surprised to find liquor instead of fish in a pond in Karja area of ​​Muzaffarpur.

31 cartons of foreign liquor were seized from the pond with the help of drone camera. However, the smugglers got wind of the raid due to which they fled from the spot. It is said that the team of the Excise Department had received secret information about liquor being kept in the pond and its sale, after which a team was formed and a raid was conducted with the help of drone.

After which 31 cartons of liquor hidden in the pond were recovered. The smugglers fled from the spot on seeing the drone. Excise Superintendent Vijay Shekhar Dubey has claimed that the liquor smugglers will be arrested soon. Raids are being conducted to arrest the smugglers.
