Nalanda, Special Vigilance Unit team raided the house of District Transport Officer (DTO) Anil Kumar Das in Nalanda. After a long raid of about 11 hours, the Vigilance team left for Patna from Anil Kumar Das's house. The Vigilance team said that in the raid, jewellery worth about one crore, land papers worth one crore and about 15000 rupees in cash have also been seized.

Vigilance team took District Transport Officer with them

After the raid, the Vigilance team has taken District Transport Officer Anil Kumar Das with them. However, nothing has been said officially yet regarding whether Anil Kumari has been arrested or not. Apart from Nalanda district, the Special Vigilance team has also raided Patna and other districts. Let us tell you that the team of Special Vigilance Unit reached the private residence of the District Transport Officer in Bihar Sharif at around 7:00 am regarding the disproportionate assets case.

Raids started on Friday morning

According to the information, a six-member team of Special Vigilance Unit raided the residence of Nalanda District Transport Officer (DTO) Anil Kumar Das on Friday morning. Anil Kumar Das is currently living in a rented house in Bihar Sharif. This action is said to be related to the disproportionate assets case. It is being told that between 6 and 7 am on Friday, two vehicles of SVU reached the residence of DTO in Amber, Bihar Sharif. A six-member team was sent for the raid, which was led by DSP Chandra Bhushan Singh.

A case of disproportionate assets is registered against Anil Kumar Das

According to sources, a case of disproportionate assets was already registered against Anil Kumar Das, in which details of assets worth about Rs 94 lakh were revealed. Prior to this, Anil Kumar Das has served as SDO in Muzaffarpur. Currently, he is working as District Transport Officer in Nalanda district since 2023.
