Katni, Last night, in village Barchhad under Amarpur outpost of Umaria district, adjacent to the border of Barhi police station of Katni district, a high speed Bolero vehicle suddenly fell down from the culvert due to breaking of the steering and collided with the wall of a house under construction on the roadside. In this accident, 3 people riding the Bolero died tragically on the spot, 3 others including the Bolero driver were seriously injured. After the incident, with the help of local people, the injured were taken to a private hospital in Katni for treatment. Where their treatment is going on.

All the three vehicle riders who lost their lives in this accident were residents of Bhind district, who worked as flying squad in sand contract company Dhan Lakshmi. Additional SP Santosh Dahriya said that the accident was so gruesome that all the deceased were badly pressed in the vehicle, who were taken out with great difficulty with the help of villagers and taken to Barhi hospital. Whereas, the injured were admitted to a private hospital, where they are undergoing treatment in critical condition. After this road accident, there was mourning in the sand contract company. Regarding the incident, GM Abhishek Nigam of the sand company said that it has come to light that this accident happened due to the steering breaking. After the post-mortem, every possible help is being provided along with the arrangement of ambulance to send the deceased to their homes. However, after the Panchnama action, efforts were being made to conduct the post-mortem of all three in Barhi.
