Historic health camp organized in Jhabua, health checkup of more than 5633 people conducted
Unique initiative of Indore Division Commissioner Shri Malsingh
Jhabua, Under the guidance and inspiration of Mr. Malsingh, Commissioner of Jhabua, Indore division, a unique initiative was taken to provide help to the people sitting in the last row of the villages in the tribal dominated areas through a massive health camp. In this series, a historic health camp was organized by the Health Department in collaboration with Jhabua District Health Department on February 18 in the tribal dominated area Ranapur.
In this camp, health check-up of more than 5633 people has been done and their complete treatment has been done. In the history of Jhabua District Ranapur Tehsil, on the initiative of Indore Division Commissioner Mr. Malsingh and with the help of District Health, this is the biggest health camp with full facilities so far in which such a large number of common people got their health checked and treated. Arrangements have also been made for follow up of those identified in the camp for whom treatment is not possible here.
Divisional Commissioner Shri Malsingh inaugurated the health camp in Ranapur and he also described health care as the most sacred and virtuous work. He also requested the villagers to take advantage of this massive health camp. Dr. Usha Gehlot CBMO expressed gratitude in the program. In this camp, more than 165 specialist doctors of all disciplines from Indore were present for the examination and treatment of patients. In the camp, arrangements were made for 29 counters for registration of patients, 36 counters for general medicine, 20 counters for distribution of medicines along with complete treatment and check-up for pregnant women including sickle cell anemia. Different rooms were made to test different diseases.
Indore Division Commissioner Mr. Malsingh has initiated the process of adopting 10 handicapped and deaf girls up to 10 years of age from very poor families with public support and opening accounts in the post office under the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana of the Government of India. Post office passbooks will soon be provided to these girls of the district. After these girls complete 18 years of age, the monthly installment of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana will be deposited by Commissioner Shri Malsingh with public cooperation. With the initiative of Commissioner Shri Malsingh, more than 165 doctors from MGM Medical College Indore along with Aurobindo Medical College Indore, Vishesh Jupiter, Suyog Hospital and many private hospital institutions of Indore contributed to the health services.
In this health camp, experts from various disciplines including Medicine Department, Surgery Department, ENT, Eye, Cardiology, Nephrology, Orthopaedics, Dental, Physiotherapy as well as doctors from other disciplines were present. In which various types of tests were also done by the Pathology Department which included blood test, urine test, blood pressure test, sugar test along with all other types of tests. The specialty of the camp was that here all types of tests including sonography test, Echo, ECG, Cardi and ANC tests were done for the women. Along with various diseases, gynecologists, cancer, nose, ear, throat and bone physicians also provided their services. In this camp, services were provided by doctors of District Hospital Jhabua and about 700 paramedical staff and ASHA workers.
In the camp, some diseases have been identified by the doctors whose treatment is not possible here, their treatment will be made available free of cost in all the hospitals affiliated to MGM Medical College, Indore. For this, Dr. DK Sharma was appointed coordinator by the Divisional Commissioner and his mobile number 9827347622 was provided to the beneficiaries from the platform. 5633 people were treated free of cost in the camp, out of which 438 sonographies were done free of cost. 1100 people were examined and treated for sugar and BP patients. 66 heart patients were examined and treated. 65 teeth were examined and treated. 41 skin patients were examined and treated. 93 Ayushman cards were made. Around 400 Ayurveda method examinations and treatments were made free for every patient in the health fair. Treatment was done.
On this occasion, regional public representative and Dean of Medical College Indore Dr. Sanjay Dixit, Joint Director Panika, Superintendent Dr. DK Sharma, Additional CEO of District Panchayat Mr. Dinesh Verma, Joint Collector Mr. Satyanarayan Darro, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Bharat Singh. Baghel and other officers were present.
Public representatives and other employees were present during the program. After the event, Chief Municipal Officer Sheetal Jain expressed gratitude to all the guests.
