Hindu leader Vikas Tyagi called the ban on women's entry in Darul Uloom a Tughlaqi decree
Tyagi said this is not Syria or Afghanistan but India which is governed by the Constitution

Saharanpur | Deoband, Bajrang Dal's former state convenor Vikas Tyagi has issued a statement criticizing the order of Darul Uloom, in which Darul Uloom has banned the entry of women. Calling this ban a Tughlaqi decree, Vikas Tyagi said that just like many restrictions are imposed on women in Syria, Afghanistan and Pakistan, similarly this is also a Tughlaqi decree of Darul Uloom. Vikas Tyagi said that if there is no ban on the entry of women in Mecca Medina, then why is there a ban in Darul Uloom. Darul Uloom should understand that this is not Syria or Afghanistan but India where women have been given more rights than men in the Constitution, so the government should take immediate cognizance and take action against Darul Uloom.
