Saharanpur, Hindi Diwas was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Doon Valley Public School, Deoband. Hindi Diwas is also organized across the country to promote awareness and respect for the Hindi language. Many activities were organized on Hindi Diwas in The Doon Valley Public School, Deoband with the aim of explaining the importance of Hindi language and increasing the love for the language among the students. The program started with lighting of lamps and Saraswati Vandana in front of Vaagdevi Saraswati Maa by the school's chairman Rajkishore Gupta and Principal Seema Sharma. After this, the school's chairman Rajkishore Gupta highlighted the importance of Hindi language. He told that Hindi is not just a language, but is the heritage of our culture and civilization. Hindi has played an important role in keeping our society united. Various competitions were organized in the school on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. Essay writing, poetry writing and speech competition were prominent in these. Students presented their views on the need and importance of Hindi. Along with this, students recited the compositions of great Hindi poets, due to which the auditorium echoed with the sweet voices of Hindi. A special discussion session was also held in the program, in which teachers and students discussed the global identity of Hindi language. In this session, students expressed their curiosity towards Hindi and discussed the ways to spread Hindi globally. Many students shared their views on the latest technological developments taking place in Hindi and the availability of Hindi content on the Internet. At the end of the program, the Principal of the school, Seema Sharma, gave the message to the students to use Hindi as much as possible and to be aware of its preservation. She also said that Hindi is capable of expressing our thoughts in a simple and natural way, it connects us with our culture and roots. It is our utmost duty to respect it. The program was conducted by class 10 students Nada, Maitri, Pari and Rudransh etc.
