Bus fell into 50 feet deep ditch, 15 died tragically
Durg, 15 people died and more than 30 were injured when a bus fell into a mine in Durg district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday. Police officials gave this information. Officials said that eleven people traveling in the vehicle died and about 38 others were injured after the bus fell into a 50 feet deep mine of Murom (red soil) near Khapri village under Kumhari police station area.
He told that the bus of Kedia Distilleries located in Kumhari area had left with the employees and about 45 employees were on board the bus. Officials said that the incident took place at 8.30 pm on Tuesday night when the bus reached near Khapri village and went out of control and fell into the Murum mine. According to the police, after getting information about the incident, a police team was sent to the spot and rescue operations were started. He said that the dead bodies and injured have been sent to the hospital and efforts are being made to take out the bus from the mine.

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has expressed grief over this accident. Sai wrote on 'X', 'Sad information was received about the accident of a bus full of employees of a private company near Kumhari, Durg. I pray to God to grant peace to the departed souls and strength to the bereaved family. Appropriate arrangements have been made for the treatment of the employees injured in the accident.
