Shajapur, Guest teachers who have been struggling for a long time for the demand of regularization are struggling with financial crisis and due to this they took out their own funeral procession. On the call of the state leadership, guest teachers of Shajapur district took out a funeral procession in Shajapur on Monday. Guest teachers carrying the bier on their shoulders reached the bus stand via Mahupura Chauraha, Nadi Chauraha, Kila Road, Chhota Chowk, Bada Chowk, New Road of the city where the funeral procession was done by raising slogans. District President of the Union Ashish Sharma said that there is anger among the guest teachers across the state due to the then Chief Minister not fulfilling the promises made to the guest teachers by calling Mahapanchayat and due to this, a funeral procession has been taken out by the guest teachers at the Shajapur district headquarters. Sharma said that former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan had called a Mahapanchayat of guest teachers from all over the state in which he had made many announcements, but the said announcements have not been fulfilled till date. Guest teachers have not been recruited till now and guest teachers have been rendered unemployed in the name of promotion etc. policies. Many promises were made during the elections as well, even Dr. Mohan Yadav, while being an MLA, himself wrote a letter to the MP government demanding regularization of guest teachers, but now that he himself is the Chief Minister, he is hell-bent on removing guest teachers. On September 5, guest teachers from all over the state will go to Bhopal to meet the Chief Minister. Sharma said that there is a demand from the government that the 12-month contract of guest teachers should be regularized by taking a departmental examination. Also, the announcements that were made should be implemented. A large number of guest teachers were present on this occasion.
