Motihari, In Motihari, the team of State GST Department has raided the establishments of two big businessmen of Motihari. The GST team raided Rambhuvan Ram's resort in Motihari as well as Hyundai showroom. It is being told that the GST team had received information that GST manipulation is being done at both the places. After this, the GST team first conducted a secret investigation at Rambhuvan Ram Resort. After this, after getting concrete information about tax evasion, the raid was conducted with the force on Saturday, which created a stir in the area.

At around 11 o'clock, the GST team reached Balaji Hyundai showroom in Bankat along with Rambhuvan Ram Resort. Raids have also been conducted in Balaji Hyundai showroom Motihari, Raxaul, Bettiah, Sitamarhi, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur in the case of tax evasion. A total of nine GST teams were engaged in raids at all the places.

The GST department informed that investigation has revealed tax evasion of crores. The team is checking the documents. The payment in cash of Rambhuvan Ram Resort and Balaji Hyundai is zero. The State Tax Commissioner has informed that the amount of tax, interest, penalty will be recovered from the above two businessmen. Let us tell you that the owner of Rambhavan Ram Resort and the owner of Hyundai showroom are counted among the big and reputed businessmen of the city. Due to the GST raid at their places, there is panic among many other businessmen of the city.
