Katni, GRP is running a campaign to stop criminal incidents on the platforms and passenger trains of Katni Railway Station. Under the campaign, the GRP team has caught two youths while checking from Satna End of Katni Railway Station. Both the youths have admitted to committing three incidents of theft each. GRP has recovered stolen jewelery and cash from both the youths.
GRP TI Aruna Vahane said that during the outer checking of the railway station on Saturday, two youths were trying to run away after seeing the GRP at Khirhani Gate towards Satna End, the GRP team surrounded and caught both the youths. The youth admitted to committing theft during interrogation. GRP police station in-charge said that the arrested youth are Aryan Nishad, resident of Venkat Ward Khirhani Gate and Sumit Nishad, resident of Kuthla police station area. During interrogation, both the youths admitted to committing three incidents of theft each. GRP has recovered silver anklet, eight thousand rupees from accused Sumit Nishad and silver bracelet, silver anklet and cash from accused Aryan Nishad.
