On the occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary, a grand unveiling of his statue was done on Monday in Lalbarra, village Auliyakanhar. This historic event was successful due to the tireless efforts of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Committee President Mukesh Chauhan, Vice President Mahendra Chauhan and Secretary Dhanendra Patel and the cooperation of villagers. All the dignitaries, mothers and sisters of the village participated in the program and made it successful. The program was mainly attended by Sarpanch Gram Panchayat Auliyakanhar Mrs. Premlata Omprakash Bisen, Panchgan Mrs. Pushpa Chauhan, Ravita Pandey, Mrs. Sarla Yadav, Sandeep Guneshwar, Dillon Bopche, Deepak Katre and Komal Bopche. Prominent among the village's enlightened people were Shankarlal Yadav, O P Bisen Sarpanch representative and Chairman Auliakanhar Physical Club, Parmanand Nageshwar, Jhaamsingh Rana, Harilal Maratha, Sheetal Prasad Brahme, Deepak Gurde, Sunil Bisen, Ashok Rangare, Sohanlal Katre, Shambhulal Bisen, Virendra Maratha, Umed Chawle, Uma Prasad Nageshwar, Mangal Prasad Sahare, Ramesh Khobragade and Prahlad Bisen.

Birth anniversary celebrated by cutting cake

First of all, the program was inaugurated by cutting the ribbon in the presence of Sarpanch Gram Panchayat Auliakanhar Mrs. Premlata Bisen and senior people. Thereafter, the statue was unveiled in the presence of all the villagers. On the occasion of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary, birthday was celebrated by cutting cake in the presence of Shankarlal Yadav and senior people. After the birthday, Shankarlal Yadav and Ranaji along with Sarpanch representative O P. Bisen said in his speech that "When our country was bound in the chains of slavery, a person from the Dalit community faced many difficulties and reached the pinnacle of education. He eradicated the evil practices spread by the British and gave his society the right to equality and by creating the Constitution, he gave the backward classes the right to fight for their rights." He further said, "We salute that great educationist and feel proud that with the efforts of the youth and enlightened people of our village, we were successful in such a sacred task as the unveiling of the statue. Now we will have to make united efforts for the construction of the Mata Durga temple as well." This work is a symbol of social awareness

In her speech, Gram Sarpanch Smt. Premlata Bisen said that “This great man was not only the architect of the Constitution, but also the pioneer of social revolution. He gave courage to the marginalized society to fight for self-respect and rights. It is a matter of pride for us that his statue is installed in our village. I express my gratitude to every villager, youth and sisters who supported this historic work. Such works not only create social awareness but also become an inspiration for the new generation.” She also said that

“Our aim is to make village Auliyakanhar a symbol of harmony and equality. The way the villagers have together made this dream come true, with the same spirit we will have to come forward and contribute in the construction of Mata Durga temple. I am confident that we will continue to get the support of all of you.”

Organizers expressed gratitude

At the end of the program, the organizers and the committee expressed gratitude to all the villagers and guests. This event not only became a symbol of social unity, but also gave the message that when the society is organised, no task remains impossible.
