Khargone, A huge health camp was organized today in Khargone regarding TB relief, sickle cell testing and blood donation. TB and sickle cell diseases are more common in tribal society. Through this camp, TB and sickle cell patients will be identified and helped for treatment. In the program, Governor Shri Mangu Bhai Patel distributed nutritional food kits to the identified TB patients and the identified sickle cell patients were given disability certificates as per their eligibility. If both the parents are affected by sickle cell, then she should not marry because the child born from them will have sickle cell. If someone is a carrier then he should not marry. Feed millet to sickle cell patients so that sickle cell can be eliminated. Let us all together make efforts to eliminate sickle cell from India!
