Katni, all the officers and employees of Madhya Pradesh staged a sit-in protest under the aegis of the United Front for 51 demands at the Katni district headquarters as well as across the country. A memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister was also submitted to the Additional Collector of the district. The officers and employees, along with the District President of the United Front, said that on the call of the provincial leadership, a sit-in protest and demonstration was held in front of the Collector's office in the third phase of the phased movement. The officers and employees said that they requested the senior officers of the 54 government departments of the city and sat on a sit-in protest from 11 am to 2 pm. The officers and employees said that among their 51-point demands, the main demands include demands like restoration of promotion, giving dearness allowance, implementing the old pension scheme and implementing cashless health insurance.
