"Give it 20 months, not 20 years..."
Tejashwi Yadav's statement in Samastipur, "I'm young, but I'm true to my word."
Political parties have begun campaigning for the Bihar Assembly elections. The Bihar Assembly elections will be held on November 6th and 11th. The election results will be announced on November 14th. On Friday, RJD leader and Grand Alliance CM face Tejashwi Yadav addressed a rally in Samastipur district, Bihar. Here, Tejashwi Yadav asked the people for 20 months. He said that what couldn't be done in 20 years, he would achieve it in 20 months.
Tejashwi Yadav said in Samastipur, "We haven't come here to make false statements. We're here to engage in long-term politics. We're not Narendra Modi, who can just spout empty promises. Tejashwi Yadav is young, but he's got a firm voice. When we announced 500,000 jobs, his uncle would ask, 'Where will we get the money?' He'll take money from his father and distribute salaries. We distributed appointment letters. No exam was leaked during my time."
Tejashwi Yadav said, "We will get you 1.5 lakh rupees in five years. We are doing what we say. When we introduced the Mai-Behan Yojana, these people borrowed 10,000 rupees as bribe for the elections, and they will recover that later. That too is being given to select people; some are getting it, some are not. When Tejashwi comes to power, he will ensure that you get 2500 rupees per month, 30,000 rupees per year, and 1.5 lakh rupees for five years. If Tejashwi gives it, it won't be a loan; it will be to fight inflation, and these people are giving bribes."
"Give Tejashwi 20 months, not 20 years, and see," said Tejashwi Yadav. "What couldn't be done in 20 years, he'll do in 20 months. The Prime Minister is setting up factories in Gujarat and wants victory in Bihar; this won't work. Google what the Prime Minister has given to Gujarat and what he's given to Bihar. The last factory in Bihar was set up by Lalu Prasad Yadav."
