Satna, miscreants have opened shops by connecting the gate and boundary of Bhatanwara school located on Amarpatan Road. This problem has persisted for many years but the responsible people including the Panchayat are silent. Perhaps they are waiting for some big accident. The Principal has made a written complaint to the Secretary and senior officials in this regard, yet no action is being taken. Now these encroachers are also threatening the Principal.

What is the matter

Hundreds of students from nearby villages come to study in Higher Secondary School Bhatanwara. By illegally occupying the entire boundary from the school gate, miscreants have opened shops of egg, meat, pan masala, cigarettes. There is a gathering of anti-social elements here during school hours who do obscene acts with the female teachers and girl students. It has been learned that illegal country liquor is also sold in pouches in egg and meat shops. The Principal has made a written complaint and expressed the fear of a serious incident. Many criminals roam freely in Bhatanwara which comes under City Kotwali.
Tehsildar gave eviction order. Uchehra Tehsildar has imposed a fine of Rs. 2000 on the miscreants who have encroached the school's land and boundary and has also given eviction order. These include encroachers Arun Singh, Rakesh Jaiswal, Vikram Singh, Manish Khatik, Mahesh Vishwakarma and others. Tehsildar has ordered to remove the encroachment earlier also but even today the encroachment is present in the same way. Government has given clear instructions that sale of such objectionable material is prohibited around schools. Despite this, sale of eggs, meat and liquor is going on openly here.
Role of Panchayat is suspicious
Villagers allege that complaints were made to the Sarpanch and Secretary of the Panchayat many times but due to the influence of the miscreants, everyone is silent. These miscreants have got open protection from the Sarpanch, that is why the order of Tehsildar is also ineffective. Whereas the Principal has also sent a copy of the complaint to SDM and District Education Officer and has demanded immediate action. On August 1, 24, the Directorate of Public Instruction issued a strict order to remove encroachments from around schools, but the administration is still waiting for some major accident.
