Four people died on the spot in a horrific accident in Lahan Dhaka of Sikarhana, Dhaka police station area on Thursday. All of them got buried under the debris that suddenly fell while opening the shuttering of an under-construction house. When they were taken to the hospital, they did not get immediate medical help and it was just a formality of declaring them dead there. People are creating a ruckus due to this incident and not getting treatment in the hospital thereafter.

Angry people blocked the Dhaka-Motihari road and started creating a ruckus. They say that there is not a single doctor present in the Dhaka sub-divisional hospital. We reached here with the injured workers but due to the absence of a doctor, they could not be treated on time. Due to this, the workers died. People said that the Bihar government should take this matter seriously and solve it immediately. Also provide proper assistance to the families of the deceased.

Adequate number of police force has been deployed
On receiving the information of the incident, Police Dhaka BDO, SDO, SDPO and SHO reached the spot. All the officers are trying to convince the people. The officers also assured proper action but people did not listen to them. At present the situation remains tense. On the orders of the senior officer, adequate number of police force has been deployed.
