More than 27 thousand women of the district are being benefited from the Mahtari Vandan Yojana

Narayanpur, To ensure economic self-reliance of women in the state and continuous improvement in their health and nutrition level and to strengthen their decisive role in the family, to eliminate discrimination, inequality and lack of awareness towards women in the society, to improve health and nutrition level and to promote economic self-reliance and empowerment, the Council of Ministers decided to implement the Mahtari Vandan Yojana in entire Chhattisgarh, under which financial assistance of Rs 1000 per month is being provided to eligible married women, under which Mahtari Vandan Sammelan was organized in the district auditorium under the chairmanship of Forest and Climate Change, Water Resources, Skill Development, Cooperation and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap to mark the completion of 1 year of the state government. While addressing the program, he said that the government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai is providing this benefit to about 70 lakh women of the state, in which 27 thousand 597 women of the district are being transferred Rs 1 thousand per month from Mahtari Vandan Yojana to their accounts. Similarly, under the guarantee of the country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Pradhan Mantri Awas, Nal-Jal Yojana, Tendu Patta Yojana and Ayushman Card are being made for every person, the benefit of which will be given to all the beneficiaries. He said that work is being done to make the mothers and sisters of the state self-reliant and work towards their economic progress. He said that due to the noble intention and farsightedness of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, toilets have been constructed in every house in every village. The government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has decided to provide Pradhan Mantri Awas to 18 lakh beneficiaries of the state, this work will be completed soon. Many important schemes are being run by the state government for the people, more than half the work has been completed in a single year. Similarly, the government is soon going to realize the dream of making mothers and sisters Lakhpati Didi and Drone Didi.
Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap said that even after 75 years of independence, the poor and the deprived were not able to get the benefits of the schemes, then as soon as our government was formed, the benefits of the schemes are being delivered to all the eligible beneficiaries. Public welfare schemes are being taken to the last person in the village, due to which 100% beneficiaries of the state are getting its benefits. He also visited the exhibition organized by the Women and Child Development Department and the Police Department at the venue. The Forest Minister also saw the photo exhibition related to the schemes organized by the Public Relations Department on the occasion of completion of 01 year of the government and while appreciating it, directed to spread awareness about the schemes among the people. In the Mahtari Vandan Sammelan, Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap honored the beneficiaries by presenting them shawls and coconuts and took selfie photos from the beneficiaries.
Padma Shri Vaidyaraj Hemchand Manjhi, District Panchayat member Pratap Mandavi, Councilor Pramila Pradhan, Jackie Kashyap, Vikas Markam, Brijmohan Dewangan, Gautam S Golchha, Narendra Meshram, Collector Bipin Manjhi, DFO Sachikanandan K, District Panchayat CEO Vasu Jain, Additional Collector Birendra Bahadur Panchbhai, Abhishek Gupta, District Program Officer Ravikant Dhurve along with public representatives, project officers and supervisors were present in the program.
