Anuppur, under the campaign to free from adulteration, on the instructions of Collector Harshal Pancholi, surprise inspection of Ravi Chaat Centre, Shailendra Sahu Chaat Centre, Rahul Chaat Centre, Rakesh Chaat Centre, Vishnu Chaat Centre of District Headquarters Anuppur was done by Food Safety Officer R.K. Soni of Food and Drug Administration Department and Sanitation Inspector D.N. Mishra of Municipal Corporation Anuppur. The officers advised the operators of the Chaat Centres to not use substandard food items, not to use non-edible colours, to follow hygiene and to use quality food items in food items. During the inspection, the officers have asked the Chaat shop operators to ensure strict compliance of the instructions. During the visit, Shyam Dairy located in Anuppur city was also inspected by the Food Safety Officer. During this, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. A.K. Avadhiya was also present. During the inspection of Shyam Dairy, samples of cheese and curd were collected. During this, the Food Safety Officer gave necessary instructions to the operator regarding the quality of food items.
