Saharanpur (Nagal), In the Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti program organized at a palace on Bhatkhedi Road, the speakers emphasized on staying united and increasing participation in politics. Chief guest Ghanshyam Garg, State President of West Pradesh Udyog Vyapar Mandal, said that Maharaja Agrasen was loved by all sections, that is why he ruled for the longest time. He was against discrimination and looked at everyone with an equal vision. A popular example of this is the concept of one brick and one rupee.

Former Minister Sanjay Garg said that today the society needs to stay united and participate in politics. Maharaja Agrasen was a mythological Karmayogi Loknayak, pioneer of socialism, Yug Purush, ascetic, supporter of Ram Rajya and Mahadani. Society should follow the path shown by him. Devband Municipality President Vipin Garg and Nakur Municipality President Shivkumar Gupta said that it is a matter of great misfortune that out of the 11 bodies of the district, only two body presidents are from the Vaishya community, whereas earlier the maximum participation was from our community, so we all have to unite and increase participation in politics. The program was chaired by Rajendra Agarwal and conducted by Ajay Agarwal. The children of the community who showed their talent by scoring the highest marks in their classes and those who brought glory to the society by being at the forefront in social activities were honored with prizes.
