Katni, keeping in view the Lok Sabha elections, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Abhijeet Ranjan and the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Santosh Dehariya, City Superintendent of Police Smt. Khyati Mishra and Reserve Inspector Smt. Sandhya Rajput and Police Station Incharge Kotwali Ashish Sharma and Assistant Commandant of 34TH BN SSB West Bengal. Under the leadership of Swaraj Kamal, a flag march was carried out by the officers and employees of the Central Police Force - SSB and District Police Force allotted to the districts for the Lok Sabha elections in the vulnerable areas, sensitive areas and sensitive polling stations of the police station Kotwali.
Central Police Force - SSB and District Police Force officers and employees in vulnerable areas, sensitive areas like Subhash Chowk, Barhi Naka, Khirhani Phatak, Garg Tiraha, Kargil Chowk, Jhanda Bazaar, Sher Chowk, Azad Chowk, Mission Chowk etc. under Police Station Kotwali. Flag march was taken out. During the flag march, all the police station in-charges of the city along with officers and employees of Central Police Force – SSB and District Police Force took part. Thereafter, flag march was conducted by officers and employees of Central Police Force – SSB and District Police Force at Puraini, Indira Nagar, Kanhwara under Police Station Kuthla. Through the said flag march, to create a sense of security among the general public and to convey the message that the police is with them for fair, fearless and free elections and the police is strict against criminal and anti-social elements. The said flag march by Katni Police will continue in different parts of the city.
