Satna, A five month old female cub was injured while crossing the railway line near Hazara Nala in Majhgawan forest range under Chitrakoot sub-forest division of Satna forest division. It was rescued and sent to White Tiger Safari Mukundpur Zoo. Where a team of doctors is trying to save it. However, the forest department has not been able to find out which train hit the tiger cub.

In this regard, newly arrived Majhgawan Ranger Ranjan Singh Parihar said that the incident probably took place at 7 am. As soon as the information was received, the forest department team reached the spot. The team found the tiger cub lying unconscious in the middle of the track. While it was breathing. Therefore, it was immediately rescued and taken to Mukundpur Zoo.

Head injury
Where a team of doctors is engaged in the treatment of the cub. According to the information received from the ranger, prima facie, injury marks are visible on the tail of the tiger cub. Whereas according to Doctor Nitin Gupta of Mukundpur Zoo, who is treating the tiger cub, there is an internal injury on the head of the tiger cub as well. Due to which there is a possibility of problems like head injury.

Waiting for the investigation report, team engaged in treatment
The treatment of the tiger cub was started as soon as it reached Mukundpur Zoo in an injured state. During this, an X-ray of its head was also done while applying bottles etc. to it. However, according to the doctor, he is unable to say anything clearly till the investigation report comes. At present, its treatment is going on.

Earlier, a tiger had died
Nine years ago, in the month of December 2016, in Majhgawan Range itself, an adult male tiger lost its life after being hit by a train on the railway track near Hazara Nala. Therefore, according to wildlife lovers, this route is an old route of tigers.
