Five members of a family burnt alive in Purnia
Sensation created, people fled from village
A shocking news has come from Tetgama village of Mufassil police station area of Purnia district of Bihar, where five members of a family were beaten badly on the accusation of being witches and then were brutally murdered by burning them alive. This incident has created a sensation. All the accused have fled from the village and the police is searching for them. In fact, the son of Ramdev Oraon of the same village died three days ago during jharphuk and treatment in the village and the health of the other child was also deteriorating. The people of the village said that the reason for this death was the presence of a witch in the said family and on this accusation, five members of the same family were brutally murdered.
Five people were burnt alive
The names of the deceased have been reported to be Babulal Oraon, Sita Devi, Manjit Oraon, Rania Devi and Tapato Mosmat. All of them belong to the same family. There is panic in the area after the incident. The villagers have left their homes. The police is patrolling the spot and the dog squad and FLC team have reached and are investigating. In this case, the police has arrested a person named Nakul Kumar. Nakul is accused of inciting people to burn the deceased alive.
Family member told
Lalit, the only heir of the deceased, said that the entire family was first beaten mercilessly on the charge of being witches and then burnt alive. Somehow we escaped from there saving our lives. Lalit said that everyone was thrown into the water after being burnt. Lalit is also scared after the incident. The police is searching for the accused.
