Fire broke out in Patna hotel, 6 people died
Lives of 45 people were saved by rescue
Patna. Six people died in the massive fire incident that took place in Patna on Thursday, while 7 people are still seriously injured and are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of Patna. Patna City SP Chandra Prakash has confirmed the death of six people in the horrific accident. The dead include three women and three men. Cylinder explosion is said to be the cause of the fire that broke out in Pal Hotel cum Restaurant near Patna station. According to the police, two people died on the spot while four people died during treatment.
The fire brigade team had to work hard to control the fire that broke out in Pal Hotel located near Patna station. Many fire brigade vehicles had to take hours to extinguish the fire. DG Fire Shobha Ahotkar also reached the spot after the incident. He said that the fire has been brought under control. The fire was very scary also because strong wind was blowing. Electricity was cut off as a precaution to prevent the fire from spreading to the surrounding areas.
After the fire in the hotel, 45 people have been rescued and taken out, while the treatment of 38 people is going on in PMCH, Patna. There was chaos in Patna for a long time regarding this accident which took place under Kotwali police station of Patna. After controlling the fire, the situation is currently under control. It is known that in this fire incident, many people were trapped in the building, who were brought down by hydraulic crane and fire engine. Five big fire brigade vehicles are on the spot. When some people trapped in the building were rescued, they became unconscious. Many people were trapped in the fire and were barely saved.
