Finally the mystery of Khandeshwari Baba's murder is solved
Police solved the mystery of blind murder of Khandeshwari Baba alias Bhalagiri, killers arrested

Anuppur, on 09.08.2024, information was received at Rajendragram police station that the body of Khadeshwari Baba alias Bholagiri, age 55, was lying in his Shivdama Ashram in Gadhidadar. Taking the said information seriously, the police station in-charge Rajendragram immediately reached the spot and verified the information. Where Baba was lying dead in his ashram. The police station in-charge immediately sent Baba's body to the hospital for post-mortem. In the post-mortem report, the doctor told that Baba died due to strangulation. On the basis of which, a case of murder was registered in police station Rajendragram and investigation was started.
Taking the above incident seriously, Superintendent of Police Anuppur Shri Moti ur Rehman constituted a special team under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Anuppur Shri Israr Mansoori to arrest Baba's killer and directed for immediate arrest. On which the special team formed studied the incident thoroughly and seriously investigated every possible aspect, interrogated about 100-150 people in the vicinity and identified suspicious persons and interrogated them and started investigation by resorting to scientific method of investigation. During the investigation, it came to light that Birendra Singh, who was an acquaintance of Khadeshwari Baba, often used to come to Shivdama Ashram to meet Khadeshwari Baba. On 07.08.24 also he came to Baba's Ashram to meet Baba. There an argument took place between Baba and Birendra Singh and Birendra Singh lost his temper and in anger strangled Khadeshwari Baba to death. This is also confirmed by the PM report. Since Khadeshwari Baba's Shivdama Ashram was in isolation, taking advantage of which, the accused Birendra Singh escaped from the scene of the incident. The accused Birendra Singh was taken into police custody from Jamshedpur, Jharkhand by a special team. After being taken into custody and questioned about the incident, the accused has accepted his crime. The accused has been arrested by the police and presented before the honorable court.
In the above entire action, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Anuppur Mr. Moti Ur Rehman, guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Anuppur Mr. Israr Mansuri, under the leadership of SDOP Pushparajgarh Mr. Naveen Tiwari, Police Station In-charge Rajendragram Inspector Birendra Barkade, Police Station In-charge Bijuri Inspector Vikas Singh, Police Station In-charge Amarkantak Inspector Kaliram Parte, Inspector Sumit Kaushik, Inspector Mangala Dubey, Sub Inspector Suresh Ahirwar, Inspector Rajendra Yadav and Inspector of Cyber Cell. Rajendra Ahirwar, Pankaj Mishra and Rajendra Kewat made commendable contribution.
