About half a dozen people were injured in this clash and many vehicles were also damaged. As soon as the police got the news of the incident, teams from nearby police stations also reached the spot. Seeing the situation deteriorating, a large number of police forces were called. After some time, Sadar DSP Abhishek Anand and SP Syed Imran Masood also reached there and started investigation.

Actually, there is Thakurbari land of Gadhi Rampur village in Mahamda village, where a temple is built. Preparations were going on by the Thakurbari Trust to install the idol of Radha Krishna in that temple. For this, a wall was being built at the gate of the temple. But on Sunday evening some people came and broke that new wall and threw stones at the workers of Gadhi Rampur working there, due to which many workers were injured.

Not only this, a labourer's motorcycle was also broken and a cargo vehicle and a garbage trolley parked nearby were also damaged. It is being told that about eight rounds of bullets were also fired to create fear, although the police have denied the firing.

As soon as the people of Gadhi Rampur village got the news of the incident, they ran towards Mahamda village in anger. Meanwhile, someone cut off the electricity from the transformer of Mahamda village and there was darkness there for about four hours. In the darkness, stone pelting started again and the people of Mahamda village started throwing stones from the roofs as well.
