Patna, on one hand, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was holding a meeting with police officials regarding crime control in the state. On the other hand, near Usman Chak turn in Masaurhi, adjacent to Patna, criminals shot dead a person associated with the iron business. The criminals were riding on two bikes. It is not clear what is the reason for the murder. It is suspected that the murder was committed after some old rivalry or robbery. The incident happened on Friday late evening. The deceased Abhay Singh had his own iron business, which was on the way to Masjid and Kumartoli. Late in the evening, he was returning home on his bike after closing his shop. He had just reached near Usman Chak turn. Then four bike riders opened fire on him and fled.
