Shajapur, Farmers are facing problems due to shortage of fertilizers before sowing in the district. Farmers have been circling since eight days and waiting for their turn by standing in line for hours. For the season crop, only half of the demand and requirement of fertilizers is being given to the farmers.

The shortage of DAP and urea has started in many committees from now on. The fertilizer crisis has increased the concern of the farmers for the preparation of sowing. Experts say that this Rabi area is likely to increase due to the continuation of the rain. In such a situation, the demand for DAP, NPA and urea is also set to increase. While the farmers are accusing of not getting fertilizer for eight days, according to KC Yadav Deputy Director Agriculture Department, sufficient urea, DAP and NPA are available across the district. Rakes are coming as per requirement. 7 thousand metric tonnes of urea is available in the district for the month of October. Apart from this, 2 thousand metric tonnes of DAP and 3 thousand 500 metric tonnes of NPA are available, which is to be given to the farmers, but the farmers are not getting even half of their demand and requirement before sowing.

Crowd of farmers started from morning...

Right now DAP is needed, but farmers are facing problems for eight days at the sales center located at MP Agro at the Tanki intersection of Shajapur. Since this morning, farmers have to queue up, including women. Farmers troubled by the shortage of urea last year are already engaged in the system.
