Deoband (Saharanpur), Farmers of BKU Apolitical held a Panchayat in the SDM office premises to solve various problems of farmers. During this, they submitted a seven-point memorandum for solving the problems. A large number of farmers gathered in the SDM office premises under the leadership of Mandal President Sherpal Singh, District President Chaudhary Sudeshpal and State Vice President Jagpal Singh and held a Panchayat. During this, discussions were held to solve various problems of farmers. In the memorandum given to SDM after the Panchayat, a demand was made to make the price of sugarcane Rs 500 per quintal. Along with this, anger was expressed over unnecessary harassment of farmers by electricity officials. In the memorandum, a demand was made to immediately repair the CC road which was broken due to the water tanks being installed for drinking water arrangements in the Gram Panchayats. Also, a demand was made to organize camps to remove the errors in the documents. There was a demand to remove the shortage of doctors for treatment in CHC and to stop the exploitation of farmers in the name of mutation. In the memorandum, a demand was also made to speed up the process of making ration cards. A large number of farmers were present during this time.
