Saharanpur. A delegation led by Bharatiya Kisan Union Verma and National President of West Pradesh Mukti Morcha Bhagat Singh Verma met Deputy Collector Ankur Verma at the District Officer's office regarding the creation of a separate West Pradesh and various problems of farmers and handed over a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister through the District Magistrate Saharanpur.
While giving the memorandum, Bharatiya Kisan Union Verma and National President of West Pradesh Mukti Morcha Bhagat Singh Verma said that Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi should constitute a State Reorganization Commission to divide Uttar Pradesh into four parts and create a separate West Pradesh for the progress and development of 25 crore population of Uttar Pradesh. Establish a mini secretariat and High Court in Meerut with immediate effect. Establish AIIMS in Saharanpur and Meerut of Western Uttar Pradesh. Eliminate all the debts of the farmers of the country, which have been incurred due to the wrong policies of the government. To save the country's agriculture, farmers, water, forests, land, the country's food-providing farmers should be given a profitable price for their crops. Whereas the central government and the state government are not able to provide the food-providing farmers even the cost price, let alone the profitable price of their crops. Due to which the debt burden on the farmers is increasing. The country's food-providing farmers should be saved by implementing the report of Dr. M.S. Swaminathan Commission. Workers should be made available to farmers by linking the MNREGA scheme directly with farming. Elderly farmers should be given old age pension. GST should be abolished on agricultural equipment, fertilizers, seeds, pesticides and diesel to reduce the cost of farming of farmers. Toll tax should be abolished from all highways and roads of the country. Sugarcane farmers should be given a profitable price of ₹ 700 per quintal for sugarcane. The outstanding payment and interest of sugarcane farmers from sugar mills should be immediately given to sugarcane farmers. Education and medical treatment should be provided free of cost to everyone in the country. Farmers' farming should be saved from stray and unclaimed animals in the district. Arbitrary fee collection and exploitation of the general public by private schools of the district should be stopped. Along with highways and railway corridors in the district, farmers should be given roads and chak roads for farming. National President Bhagat Singh Verma demanded from Prime Minister Modi that if a separate West State is formed by combining 26 districts of Western Uttar Pradesh, then along with the problems of farmers, the problems of laborers, traders, shopkeepers, students, unemployed, youth will also be solved. Sugarcane farmers of Western Uttar Pradesh will get a profitable price of ₹ 700 per quintal in cash for sugarcane and sugar mills will not be able to exploit sugarcane farmers. If a separate West State is formed, education and medical treatment will be free for everyone here and the per capita annual income will be the highest not only in the country but in the world.
