Farmers of Gram Panchayat Dadiya and Bamhni, which come under Lalbarra, Janpad Panchayat, have demanded from Lalbarra Tehsildar to procure paddy only at the old place. And have objected to paddy procurement at the new place. And the condition and other problems at the said new place have been mentioned in their letter.

It is mentioned in the letter that paddy procurement was being done at the sub-centre Dadiya Ramji Warehouse of the Circular Cooperative Society Lalbarra, but paddy procurement is not being allowed inside the warehouse. There is not enough space for procurement outside. Ramji Warehouse is being closed after 6:00 pm, due to which farmers are facing a lot of trouble. Procurement should be done at the old procurement centre Dadiya MNREGA Cape. Along with this, Dadia Sarpanch Smt. Rishi Panchhi Bhalavi has demanded to buy paddy at the old place in the interest of farmers through a letter to Tehsildar.

While giving the application, BR Dhabaale Sarpanch Bamhni, Lalit Lange, Jhanklal Lange, Lekhram Tumsare, Maniram Tumsare, Kiran Lanjewar, Yuvraj Agure, Premlal Rahangdale, Santosh Lute, Durgaprasad, Lokram Lute, Shriram Burade, Ashok Bopche, Dinesh, Devkaran Pancheshwar, Sevakram Barle, along with hundreds of farmers have demanded to buy paddy at the old place from Tehsildar.

The application form of the farmers has been received today, we have asked the concerned officer to visit the spot, the officials of MP Ware Housing Board have also been informed, whatever is in the interest of the farmers will be done.

We had brought paddy here but there is a problem of space and this warehouse is made for storage and the managers who have come from the food department say that it is made only for storage and purchase will not be done here. I request the government to start purchase at the old place only and bring transport from there and keep it here.
