Saharanpur | Deoband, Farmers associated with Bharatiya Kisan Union (Mahashakti) met Deoband Kotwali in-charge Sanjeev Kumar and demanded concrete steps to curb the incidents of thefts happening at tube wells in the area. The organization's West State President Priyadeep said that incidents of tube well theft are increasing in the area. But the police have not been able to take any effective action in this regard till now. He said that the police-administration should take effective action to stop the incidents of theft. State General Secretary Arvind Tyagi said that in the last few days, three-four incidents of thefts have happened at tube wells in village Kurdi itself. Forget about action, the police is not even reaching the spot for investigation, due to which there is anger among the farmers. Kotwali in-charge Sanjeev Kumar gave proper assurance to the farmers. During this, District President Pradeep, Youth State Vice President Ankit Tyagi, Divisional Vice President Ajay Tyagi, Prahlad Tyagi, Ravindra Tyagi, Himanshu Gurjar, Adesh Tyagi, Karmaveer, Kuntu Tyagi and Pratish Tyagi etc. were present.
