Muzaffarpur, Muzaffarpur For the successful and smooth conduct of Lok Sabha elections 2024, the Presiding Officer, P One, P Two, P Three were directed to contribute on 18 May at the dispatch center established at Langat Singh College Muzaffarpur, but 144 personnel remained unauthorizedly absent from their duty. In the explanation sought from them, their act has been considered as indiscipline, arbitrariness and dereliction of duty.

As a result, taking this act seriously, District Election Officer cum District Magistrate Shri Subrata Kumar Sen has sought clarification from the personnel who did not contribute in the election. The District Election Officer has given an order to the Nodal Officer of the Personnel Cell to take legal action under relevant sections of the Representation of the People Act 1951 against those employees whose answers will be unsatisfactory.

Under Muzaffarpur Assembly Constituency, 8 Presiding Officers, 3 P1, 3 P2, 7 P3 did not contribute.

Under Kudhni Assembly Constituency, 6 Presiding Officers, 3 P1, 5 P2, 7 P3 did not contribute.

Under Sakra Assembly Constituency, 13 Presiding Officers, 4 P1, 7 P2, 4 P3 did not contribute.

Under Aurai Assembly Constituency, 12 Presiding Officers, 8 P1, 6 P2, 4 P3 did not contribute.

Under Gaighat Assembly Constituency, 14 Presiding Officers, 3 P1, 7 P2, 5 P3 did not contribute.

Under Bochaha Assembly Constituency, 9 Presiding Officers, 2 P1, 4 P3 did not contribute.
