Shahdol, Bharatiya Janata Party District President Mrs. Amita Chapra while addressing the district meeting on Wednesday said that the workers should start preparing for the party's foundation day on 6 April and Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary on 14 April. She said that special preparations should be made to celebrate the party's foundation day on 6 April and every worker should hoist the party flag at their residence and celebrate the foundation day with full joy. Decorate the office and make rangoli and distribute sweets. Take a selfie and post it on social media with "Hashtag BJP for Vikasit Bharat".

BJP District Media Incharge Vinay Kewat said that on the instructions of the Bharatiya Janata Party state leadership, on Wednesday at Shahdol Divisional Headquarters District BJP office located in Kamala Nagar. The meeting began with garlanding and lighting of lamps on the portraits of BJP's founding fathers Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. District media in-charge informed that in the district working meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP Shahdol district in-charge Pitambar Topnani, Jaitpur MLA Jaisingh Maravi, Jaisinghnagar MLA Mrs. Manisha Singh Vyauhari MLA Sharad Kol, former district president Kamal Pratap Singh, lifetime support fund in-charge Daulat Manmani, district panchayat president Prabha Mishra were present on the stage.

Addressing the meeting, district in-charge Pitambar Topnani discussed the upcoming programs in detail. He said that on April 3, every Mandal meeting will be held and on April 4, Shakti Kendras meeting will be held and on April 14, Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary will be celebrated at every booth in the district. Ensure to organize a conference of new primary members on topics like BJP’s electoral success, organizational expansion, change brought by BJP in Indian politics and journey towards developed India with Shri Narendra Modi as Prime Minister at booth level and Mandal and Vidhan Sabha level. Between 7th and 13th April, district officials, public representatives and Mandal presidents will hold meetings for 8 hours a day. Under the “Basti Chalo Abhiyan”, visit the Seva Basti and participate in the cleanliness drive in temples, hospitals, schools and streets. During this, meet 10 beneficiaries of various schemes and talk to them. Visit Anganwadi Centre, School, Veterinary Hospital, Primary Health Centre and Panchayat Office and participate in the cleaning of water structures. Organise a meeting of local residents and visit the homes of eminent persons of different communities. Honour senior party workers, MISA prisoners and Kar Sevaks and organise a meeting of booth committees.

Celebrate Deepotsav by cleaning

District President Mrs. Amita Chapra said that before the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, his statues should be cleaned on 13th April and Deepotsav should be celebrated in the evening. On 14th April, a floral tribute should be offered to the statues of Baba Saheb and the Preamble of the Constitution should be read collectively. The Anganwadi Centres and the school premises of the Scheduled Caste Bastis should be cleaned and community facilities should be maintained. She said that the party will also celebrate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Late. The party is celebrating the centenary year of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji, for this the party workers should inform the new workers through respected Atal Ji's letter, photos, videos etc. During this, the BJP District President, while discussing the subject of lifetime contribution fund, congratulated the team of lifetime contribution fund district team for collecting the contribution fund on time and a special discussion was held on the Prime Minister's Mann ki Baat programme. District office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Mandal presidents, presidents of Front cells along with senior best workers of the BJP were present in the meeting.
