Katni, Employees of a liquor shop in Hirwara village of NKJ police station area of ​​Katni beat up a youth of the village. Angry people and women reached the liquor shop and vandalized the shop while creating a ruckus.

Along with this, the villagers also protested by sitting on the road in front of the shop demanding removal of the shop and action. People agreed after the persuasion of the police who reached the spot.

The women who were creating a ruckus told that Govind Chakraborty, a resident of Hirwara, had gone to the liquor shop of the village on Saturday night. Where he had a dispute with the shop employees over something. The employees beat him up. The matter was pacified at night. But today again the women and villagers of the village reached the liquor shop. The women vandalized the shop with sticks and started protesting by sitting on the road and raising slogans. As soon as the information of the matter was received, NKJ police reached the spot and discussed with the villagers. Also, instead of arguing in the matter, they were asked to go to the police station and lodge a complaint. After which the villagers agreed and went to lodge the complaint. On the other hand, officers of the Excise Department have also reached the spot. Additional SP Santosh Daheriya said that action will be taken in the matter on the basis of the complaint.
