Damoh, Model Code of Conduct for Lok Sabha Elections 2024 is in effect. During the Model Code of Conduct, there is a complete ban on organizing any type of exit poll in relation to the elections and publishing or publicizing its results in print or electronic media or disseminating it in any other way till 6.30 pm on 1st June. Will remain. The notification issued by the Election Commission of India clarifies that the results of any opinion poll or any other poll survey in any electronic media during the 48 hours ending at the time fixed for the close of poll in all polling constituencies during the election. There will also be a complete ban on demonstration of any kind of election related matters. It is provided in Section 126 A of the Public Representation Act, 1951 that no person shall conduct any issue vote survey and the result of any issue vote survey shall be published during such period as may be notified by the Election Commission in this regard. Will not publish or publicize through print or electronic media or disseminate in any other manner. If any person contravenes this provision, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.
