Elderly and disabled people got the facility of vote from home in Shajapur
Collector Kishore Kanyal has identified 754 voters in all three assemblies who are to be given the facility to vote from home
Shajapur, the administration is fully geared up for 100 percent voting and new efforts are being made for this every day. This time, voters who are disabled or elderly and cannot go to the polling booth were given the facility to vote sitting at home so that no one is left out from voting.
In fact, every time voters who are unable to walk or who are above 90 years of age and cannot go to the polling station are not able to cast their vote. The district administration provided the facility of vote from home for such people. For this, the parties formed reached various wards and identified such voters and after seeing their names in the voter list, they were made to vote at home. For this, complete confidentiality was maintained and all the rules were followed. Collector and District Election Officer Kishore Kanyal said that our teams are touring the wards and getting such voters to vote and the work is being done very fast. We are confident that we will get 90 percent of such voters voting by evening. He said that 754 such voters have been identified in all three assemblies. Those who are to be given the facility to vote from home.

Campaign will run on 10th also
The parties formed on Monday went door-to-door and got the elderly and disabled voters to vote. There were also some voters who were out of the city or could not be found at that time. Voting will also be conducted from such voters for whom teams will contact door to door on November 10 and get them voting. But those voters who will not be able to vote on 10th will not get another chance. Collector Shri Kanyal said that it is our best effort to ensure that no voter is left out.
Rampyari Bai looked happy after casting her vote after 25 years
The elders also expressed happiness over the Vote from Home campaign and appreciated the efforts of the administration. Rampyari Bai Tomar, resident of Neemwadi, who has completed 90 years and is bedridden for the last 25 years. Who had not exercised their franchise for 25 years.
