New Delhi, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and western Uttar Pradesh may receive light rain on Thursday and Friday under the influence of Cyclone 'Biparjoy' in the Arabian Sea. A private forecasting agency gave this information. At the same time, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has expressed the possibility of cloudy weather and light drizzle in Delhi on June 15 and 16.

According to the department, Cyclone Biparjoy is expected to cross Mandvi near Jakhau port in Gujarat and Karachi in Pakistan as a cyclonic storm by the afternoon of June 15. During this, there can be a storm with winds of 125 to 135 kilometers per hour and the wind speed can reach 150 kilometers per hour.

"The cyclone in the Arabian Sea, after making landfall on June 15, is likely to cause scattered rains over Rajasthan, Delhi, Uttarakhand and western Uttar Pradesh in the third week of June," said the head of the regional forecasting center of the IMD. Kuldeep Srivastava said Delhi may receive light rains due to a fresh Western Disturbance and moisture-laden southwesterly winds coming from the Arabian Sea, which will reach Delhi after crossing Rajasthan and South Haryana.
