Panna, Due to heavy rain in the afternoon on July 5, the houses of the poor got submerged in water in Jaipal Colony Madaiyan, which comes under Gram Panchayat Itwan Khas of Panna district. Due to which the villagers are facing huge losses and problems. Villagers say that the drain path has been blocked by some people by putting up a fence of stones. Due to which the way of water drainage is blocked, their houses are filled with water. It is known that due to encroachment in rain drains, the water of sudden heavy rain is not able to drain easily. Due to which waterlogging situation is seen in such houses. Due to this, there is a state of fear among the villagers due to sudden waterlogging in the houses. At the same time, the villagers have appealed to the administration to immediately open the blocked drain and remove other encroachments and control the waterlogging in Sirswaha Dam to deal with the problem and avoid any untoward incident in future.
