Good Governance Day was celebrated a day before the birthday of former Prime Minister of the country, late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, in Shahdol district of Madhya Pradesh. Dean of Birsa Munda Government Medical College, Dr. GB Ramteke administered the oath of good governance to all medical officers, management cadre, nursing officers and other employees. Also, in his address, he said that we all should work for the people by understanding equality, inclusion, participation and transparent functioning in our work. It is the responsibility of all of us to emulate the highest standards of governance established by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The program was conducted by Dr. Abdul Sabir Khan, Hospital Manager. Hospital Manager Khan shared his views with everyone on the various objectives of Good Governance Day such as devotion to duty, accountability, transparency, responsibility etc.

Also requested to adopt the importance of Good Governance Day and its standards in Birsa Munda Government Medical College and Hospital. Senior medical officers Dr. Rajesh Kharat, Dr. Tembhurnikar, Dr. Vikrant Kabirpanthi etc. were present in the program.
