DM disposed of pending files on the spot, provided loans of more than 1.25 crores to 26 beneficiaries within four hours

Saharanpur. Review meeting of Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyam Vikas Yojana was held in the new auditorium of Collectorate under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Manish Bansal.
DM Manish Bansal gave strict instructions to all the bank representatives and said that any kind of negligence in the implementation of the scheme will not be tolerated. Directed all the banks to focus on this ambitious scheme and speed up the work. He directed the Deputy Commissioner of Industries to ensure solution of their problem by deploying his team bank wise. He said that as against the target of 2000 set for the district, 1399 applications have been received so far, which should be increased and completed as soon as possible. DM Manish Bansal, while reviewing the scheme, expressed displeasure over the pending applications at the bank level and seated all the bank representatives in the new auditorium and got more than 80 loan files approved within 4 hours on the spot and distributed loans of more than Rs. 1.25 crore to 26 beneficiaries. District Magistrate Manish Bansal said that this is a very ambitious scheme of the Uttar Pradesh government under which targets have been set to give impetus to micro, small and medium enterprises, encourage these industries and create maximum employment in this sector and establish 1 lakh new micro units every year to attract capital investment in the state. In this sequence, a target of distributing 2000 loans to the district has been set. Under this scheme, loans up to Rs. 5 lakh will be distributed by banks through the District Industries Center. Mainly 10 percent subsidy will be given in the scheme which is an interest free scheme. Deputy Commissioner of Industries VK Kaushal, Lead Bank Manager Praveen Jamuar along with concerned officials and representatives of various banks were present in the meeting.
