Saharanpur, District Magistrate Manish Bansal inspected the under construction Maa Shakumbhari Devi University and inquired about the progress of the work. Expressing deep displeasure over the slow progress of the work, he said that ensure that the remaining work is completed qualitatively and quickly by employing additional workers. He told the concerned institution to prepare an action plan and complete the work on time without making excuses. DM Manish Bansal instructed the Executive Engineer PWD to be present daily and ensure to inform about the progress made in the work. He gave strict instructions to complete the water drainage, beautification work and all pending works in the university on time. He said that punitive action will be taken if the work is not completed on time. District Magistrate Manish Bansal directed the organizations related to the university construction work, PWD, PMC and the contractor to fulfill all the assigned responsibilities responsibly. He also instructed to plant as many saplings as possible in the university campus. On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof. Hriday Shankar Singh, Chief Development Officer Sumit Rajesh Mahajan, Registrar Virendra Kumar Maurya and officials of the implementing agency were present.
